BARRANQUILLA, Colombia.- The flag of the Lone Star was the first to waves at the Central American and Caribbean Villa in this city, when it was raised in the morning in the presence of the head of the Cuban delegation, Antonio Becali Garrido.

The authorities of the Villa gave the warmest welcome to the athletic embassy of the island, which formed perfectly dressed in blue and white in a brief and simple protocol ceremony.

To reciprocate the reception, Becali Garrido uttered heartfelt words on behalf not only of the athletes, coaches and federative, but also of the nation that leads the Central American and Caribbean since Panama 1970.

Then the notes of the Cuban national anthem were heard and there was some time for photos, greetings and the exchange with the press.
