BAKU, Azerbaijan. – The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will make the handover of its successful Pro-Tempore Presidency of the Non-Aligned Movement to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The event will take place during the 18th Summit of the multilateral body, which will be at the highest level next Friday and Saturday, a report by TeleSur indicates.

This meeting of heads of State and Government of the 120 countries members of the Non-Aligned Movement will be preceded by meetings of senior officials and ministers in the Azerbaijani capital.

The Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs described as successful the Pro-Tempore Presidency of Caracas in the international forum, a responsibility it has assumed for three years, concerning the Summit of the multilateral body held on Margarita Island.
