Havana, Cuba.- The most recent progress in the world of information and communications technologies (ICT) capture the interest of the public in this capital, eager to learn about the innovations exhibited at the International Fair ”Informatica Habana”, which opens today here.

The Pabexpo exhibition complex, the most important exhibition center west of Havana, is the venue for the fair, the most expected event by ICT lovers for the products and services on display.

As usual, one of its halls will exhibit on stands a panorama of what is done in the island, the main progress of this discipline, in a nation that develops a national computerization program.

The public will be capable of learning about the 24 ongoing projects by Cuban entities and the non-state sector. The latter will present the Bascal Pro tool, a system for the weighing and billing of products that captures the information generated by the scales and manages the information and commercial action.

Parallel to the exhibition fair is the academic program of the International Convention ‘Informatica Habana 2018’.

Under the slogan ‘For a sustainable development’, specialists from Venezuela, Panama, Brazil, Canada, Spain, Portugal, China, Russia and Cuba are also attending this event.
