ARTEMISA, Cuba. – Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdes Menendez, Vice-President of the Councils of State and Ministers, evaluated in Artemisa province the progress of the recovery phase after the passage of Hurricane Irma.

In a meeting of the Provincial Defense Council, its President Jose Antonio Valeriano reported on the certification of all electrical circuits to the gradual rescue of power and water supply to all houses.

Ramiro Valdes was interested in the production and collection of agricultural foods, especially those affected by the winds.

The exchange in Artemisa was also attended by Army Corps General Leopoldo Cintra Frias, Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, and Major General Ramon Pardo Guerra, head of the National Staff of the Civil Defense.
