HAVANA, Cuba. – Antonio Becali Garrido, president of the National Institute of Sport, Physical Education and Recreation of Cuba (INDER), received Mr. Isaac Kwame Asiamah, Minister of Youth and Sports of Ghana at Jose Marti International Airport.

The distinguished guest thanked Cuba’s collaboration in developing the sport in his country, which managed to be a power in boxing thanks to Cuban coaches. He also highlighted the support for the fight against colonialism in Africa.

Becali told Kwame about the development of the Cuban sports system from the base to high performance and the importance Fidel that always gave to its mass feature.

The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ghana arrived in Havana to attend the seventh International Convention of Physical Activity and Sports (AFIDE).
