CAMAGUEY, Cuba.- A commission led by Roberto Morales, Vice- President of the Councils of State and Ministers, assessed the march of this school year in Camaguey, as part of the government visit to the territory.

Although he described as superior the development of the current school period compared to the previous one, Morales urged to deepen the causes threatening the best developing of the teaching process.

The completion of the coverage of teachers in elementary schools and high schools was one of the most marked points in the exchange with leaders of the educational sector – including universities.

For her part, Ena Elsa Velazquez, Minister of Education, highlighted the narrow and systematic work carried out by the Provincial Directorate of the sector and the University of Camaguey to encourage the interest of students for the majors related to teaching.
