HAVANA, Cuba.- The vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Rogelio Sierra, highlighted that the political dialogue and cooperation between his country and Suriname benefits both nations and promotes regional integration in the Caribbean.

In his official Twitter account the diplomat also celebrated the establishment of an official aerial connection between the two nations.

Cuba welcomes the establishment of direct flights between the two countries with Fly All Ways air carrier, which contributes to the interest of promoting better interconnectivity in the Caribbean, he published.

During his visit to Suriname, Sierra held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yldiz Pollack-Beighle, and other leaders. The Cuban representative’s tour of countries in the region, from June 6 to 16 will also include Barbados, Guyana and Jamaica.
