HAVANA, Cuba.- Jean Claude Sidibe, Minister of Sports of the Republic of Mali, and Habib Sissoko, president of the Olympic Committee of that country, began an official visit to Cuba to reinforce the historic ties of bilateral collaboration.

“Both countries maintain strong cooperation in some sectors, but in sports we have a group of qualified Cuban specialists, who impart their knowledge in several Malians institutions,” Sidibe said.

The official of the Olympic Committee ratified that this visit to Havana will allow to close the exchange with its Cuban counterpart and to meet its president, Jose Ramon Fernandez.

The delegation headed by the direction of sports in Mali was received last night at Jose Marti International Airport by the president of INDER, Antonio Becali, and Martha Lidia Ruiz, its director of International Relations.
