HAVANA, Cuba. – Cuban authorities signed a book of condolences at the Embassy of Algeria in Havana in which they expressed their solidarity with that country after the accident of a military plane.

“On behalf of the Cuban people and government we express the heartfelt condolences, which we also extend to the relatives of the victims,” the message signed by Vic- President Salvador Valdes underlines.

The text also expresses Cuba´s support to the authorities and the people of Algeria on the occasion of the accident of a military transport plane in which more than 200 people died.

The Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, Leopoldo Cintra, and Vice- Chancellor Abelardo Moreno, among other Cuban authorities, also signed the book of condolences at the Algerian Embassy.
