The 605 deputies to the Cuban Parliament and the 1265 delegates to the provincial Assemblies of People´s Power were elected with more than half of the valid votes issued.
More than seven million Cubans exercised their right to vote in the elections of municipal delegates of the People’s Power, representing 85, 94 percent of the total summoned to the ballot box.
17 members of the National Electoral Commission of Cuba signed the Act of inauguration of their positions and received the certification accrediting their designation for the important task, in a solemn ceremony.
