MATANZAS, Cuba.- With fifty closed circuits, the more than 300 electricians of Matanzas intensify the days of recovery to restore service and contribute to supply water to the population.

Boris Meneses Acosta, provincial director of the Electrical Basic Organization, explained that the labor force includes vehicles for technicians on duty, among other means to take care of one hundred seventy five circuits.

Meneses said priority is given to vital points, areas that guarantee economic and social vitality such as hospitals, hotels, fuel outlet points and the airport.

Among the most complex tasks he mentioned high voltage lines and the creation of islands that reintegrate the power service to most of the territory as soon as possible.
