HAVANA, Cuba. –Army General Raul Castro Ruz, President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, received this Thursday afternoon Her Excellency Mrs. Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, who is officially visiting the island.

They noted the favorable progress of bilateral relations, as well as their development prospects following the recent provisional entry into force of the Agreement on Political Dialogue and Cooperation.

Mogherini was accompanied by the Ambassador of the European Union in Cuba, Alberto Navarro, and the member of the Cabinet of the High Representative, European Service of External action, Enrico Petrocelli.

For the Cuban side there were present the Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez, and Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Minister Rodrigo Malmierca.
