HAVANA, Cuba.- Diplomat Anayansi Rodriguez assumed the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, after occupying several responsibilities in defense of the island’s foreign policy.

Rodriguez was the Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, a position she occupied after working in Geneva, and her management in the Chancellery as head of the Directorate for Multilateral Affairs.

Leaders and officials congratulated the diplomat for the appointment, including Chancellor Bruno Rodriguez. Success in her new roles to Anayansi Rodriguez, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry wrote on his Twitter account.
