SANTIAGO DE CUBA, Cuba.- The Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, headed the celebration for International Workers’ Day in Antonio Maceo Revolution Square of Santiago de Cuba.

The motto Unity, Commitment and Victory headed this May 1 in the parade of the Santiago people, initiated with multicolored flags of the National Union of Civilians of Defense.

Educators, sports celebrities, health professionals, trade workers, gastronomy and services also marched in the Revolution Square.

The celebration of International Workers ‘ Day was also an expression of solidarity with the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean, and from other latitudes.
