Workers' Party Congress Begins in Brazil
SAO PAULO, Brazil. – With the presence of former Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva begins in Sao Paulo the 7th Congress of the Workers’ Party, called to lead and lash out opposition to the far-right government of Jair Bolsonaro.

From November 22 to 24, members and delegates will discuss key issues to understand the global narratives in which Brazil is embedded.

With the presence of important national and international political figures, the colloquium will discuss the crisis of liberalism, and the global rise of the far right.

Confirmed guests include Jean Marc Germain, Secretary of International Relations and Globalization of the Socialist Party of France, former Argentine Chancellor Jorge Taiana, Member of Parliament of the Southern Common Market, and Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, former President of the Government of Spain.
