CARACAS, Venezuela. – Those who sought protecting Venezuela with the alliance of violent opponents obtained a dissent instead, because there is no recognition of the lies this group intends to uphold, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez said.

At a press conference in Caracas, Rodriguez explained the interventionist groups within OAS were defeated after the extraordinary session on the eve, in which they did not reach a consensus on Venezuela, because they failed to sustain their lies.

They launched against our homeland ignoring international standards, the Venezuelan Chancellor noted and questioned the accusations of right-wing governments against Venezuela.

Rodriguez remarked that the so-called Group of Fifteen did not achieve their interventionist objectives. She added this group is shielded within the hemispheric organism to infringe upon the nation´s peace.
