CARACAS, Venezuela.- Venezuela continues the work to restore electric service, after the sabotage to Simon Bolívar Hydroelectric Power Plant last Monday.

The Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, thanked the specialists of the National Electric Corporation, who work to ensure electricity, affected by the use of a gun that caused fire in the transmission yard of the plant.

According to local authorities, the service was restored on Tuesday in more than 85 per cent of the territory, but on Wednesday, a partial failure and fall of the system resulted from instability resulting from fire damage.

On this regard, Maduro pointed out that the technicians will complete the total restoration of electricity in the Latin American country in the coming days.
