
Temer refuses to resign.
The Minister of the Supreme Federal Court of Brazil, Edson Fachin, decided today to initiate the investigations to President Michel Temer, for obstructing justice by endorsing the payment of Eduardo Cunha´s silence of, former leader of the Chamber of Deputies.
Some of tipping off made to the Attorney general’s office were spread by O Globo newspaper in its digital version, in which Temer orders to pay Cunha to silence him on the Lava Jato case.
The head of the Supreme Federal Court also deprived his mandate as federal senator to the leader of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party, Aecio Neves, involved in the Lava Jato case, who asked for money for his defense.
Federal deputy Rodrigo Rocha, of the ruling party Brazilian Democratic Movement, was also separated from his status as a member, for being involved in this corruption scandal.

The President of Brazil, Michel Temer, affirmed emphatically he would not relinquish his office, after knowing the deposition of businessman Joesley Batista, according to which the dignitary paid for Eduardo Cunha´s silence.
I know what I did and I demand a full and quick investigation of the facts, the occupant of the Palace of Planalto said in a declaration to the country spread by a national chain.
I never authorized to pay whoever he is to keep him quiet. I did not buy no one’s silence, the Brazilian President insisted.
According to Temer, who took the power because of the parliamentary-judicial coup that deposed constitutional President Dilma Rousseff last year, the illicit recording released this Wednesday brought back the phantom of a political crisis of incalculable dimensions.
