NEW YORK, USA. – The solidarity movement with Cuba in New York and New Jersey prepares actions to claim the cessation of the US blockade against the island, activist Frank Vergara said this Monday.

The movement coordinator added said that at the heart of the campaign against this genocidal policy, with more than half a century of validity, the activities will be to accompany a new vote in the United Nations General Assembly on the draft resolution calling to an end.

On this new occasion to condemn blockade we want to be most creative, and we are working on mobilizations and ideas like the design of T-shirts including the results of the vote over the years,” the activist explained.

Vergara remarked that the solidarity movement with Cuba has the priority of incorporating more young people in the United States to the efforts to defeat the blockade and promote support for the Cuban Revolution.
