Fidel Castro and Ernesto Che Guevara.

LIMA, Peru.- The historical legacy of the Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro, and his endearing link with Argentine-Cuban revolutionary Ernesto Che Guevara, were highlighted in a meeting of the Peruvian Committee of Homages to Che.

During a meeting at the Cuban Embassy in Peru, representatives of political and social organizations and personalities of culture and other fields agreed to point out the example left by both revolutionaries.

Social fighter Ricardo Gadea, chairman of the organizing committee of tributes to Che Guevara on the 50th anniversary of his last fight in Bolivia, said that talking about Che is talking about Fidel.

He also highlighted the example the historical Commander-in-Chief represents for Latin America and many peoples, and praised his sense of humanity, of responsibility, not only with Cuba, but also to the world.
