BUENOS AIRES, Argentine.- The interim president of the Latin American and Caribbean Culture Group, Carlos Javier Daveggio, urged this Wednesday to strengthen the links between the countries of the area during the La Paz International Book Fair.

Daveggio prefers to put aside each country´s gentilics and bet for Latin America as the nation of all, because in his opinion the peoples of this area have many points of convergence.

When participating in the launching of the image of the 22nd La Paz International Book Fair, the also Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Argentina in Bolivia explained the reasons leading him to work for Latin America´s welfare.

I like to stop talking about Cubans, Salvadorans, Argentines and Bolivians, I prefer to refer to Latin Americans, because in that way we honor men who dedicated their lives to build a common cause in the region, Daveggio added.
