PANAMA CITY, Panama. – Latin America is the region of the world with the highest potential for its human, natural, cultural and energetic wealth, Giovanni Di Girolamo, in charge of the European Union in Panama assured.

The diplomat said the area as a whole exhibits an atmosphere of peace and progress from the 80´s of the last century to the present, hence the interest of many investors.

Di Girolamo asserted that the European Union is currently the first investor and donor in Latin America, as well as one of the most important commercial pairs in the area.

The official said his trajectory in Latin America has always been in the same direction, to favor exchange, trade, integrate our economies, defend human rights, democracy and freedoms, taking into account that each country has its internal dynamics, so we advocate dialogue.
