MIAMI, USA.- Members of the Marti Alliance analyzed the aggressive policies of the United States against Cuba and Venezuela, according to the entity that brings together in Miami, Florida organizations of emigrants from the island.

Representatives of the Foundation for the Normalization of United States-Cuba Relations, the Negra Hippolyta Bolivarian Circle of Miami, and the Socialist Workers’ Party joined the debate.

The rejected Helms-Burton Act, which codifies the American blockade against Cuba, and the activation of its title III were part of the exchange of criteria among the participants in the meeting.

They also addressed the actions from Washington to destroy Venezuela’s economic and social capacities, and the denial of visas to Cubans in order to prevent emigration and visits to their relatives on American territory.
