Havana, Cuba.- Representatives of Cuba”s Supreme People”s Court and the Federal Marshals Service of the Russian Federation shared experiences in enforcing judicial decisions, the national entity reported Tuesday on social media.

During the talks, directors and members of both institutions also confirmed their satisfaction with the exchange held in Havana.

On Monday, the President of the Supreme People’s Court of Cuba, Ruben Remigio Ferro, welcomed a delegation from the Federal Marshals Service of the Russian Federation, headed by its director, Dimitri Aristov.

The Cuban official highlighted the appropriate moment of the visit, a few days after the proclamation of the new Constitution of the Republic, which he considered to have a great impact on the country’s judicial activity.

In this regard, he added that the Constitution provides the presentation before the National Assembly of the People’s Power of the subsequent legislative proposals that complement it, hence the importance of the exchange to feed on good practices.

For his part, Dimitri Aristov extended the invitation for the Supreme People’s Court of Cuba to attend, for the second time, the theoretical and practical international conference on issues of coercive execution of judicial acts and acts of other authorities, to be held in July this year.

Remigio Ferro confirmed the attendance of a national delegation to the event, where Cuba participated for the first time in October 2018.

Both representatives agreed on the importance of the event and reaffirmed their satisfaction with the collaborative relations existing in dissimilar spheres, especially between the judicial systems.
