Havana, Cuba.- Cuban and Qatari officials met in Havana to analyze the potential to develop economic relations, especially Doha”s investments in Cuba.

We hold a productive meeting with the delegation from the State of Qatar led by Minister of State and Adviser to the Emir, Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kawari, Cuban Minister for Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierca posted on Twitter.

The Ministries of Foreign Affairs from Cuba and Qatar held the second round of political consultations in May 2018 in Havana.

According to the Cuban Foreign Ministry, the meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and the sides ratified the good state of the bilateral relations and the shared will to continue strengthening the political-diplomatic, economic, commercial and cooperation ties.

They also addressed issues of the international political situation, Malmierca said in a statement.
