cuba-china-partidosBeijing, China.-Cuban ambassador, Miguel A. Ramirez, and the deputy head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Li Jun, highlighted today here the state of relations between both countries. The Cuban diplomat offered a meeting of fraternization to the high-level party official of this Asian territory at the embassy of the Caribbean island in this capital, on the Chinese Lunar New Year.

During the meeting, both sides agreed on the excellent state of the historic ties of friendship and cooperation that unite the two countries and especially their communist parties.

They also reviewed joint actions developed in 2016 and debated projections for the current year.

Li stressed the high level of the bilateral relations and expressed his willingness to continue working from his position for expanding them in all sectors, especially the Cuban Communist Party (PCC), through the exchange of mutual experiences.

Ramirez emphasized that the party sphere is one of the pillars of the ties between Havana and Beijing, and stressed the Mission’s commitment to continue promoting the bilateral ties.
