BUENOS AIRES, Argentina.- Hundreds of Argentine demonstrators expressed this Wednesday in this city their social discontent with the constant tarifazos and the need for land, roof and work.
According to authorities, social movements were grouped in May and July 9 Avenues, where they demanded a group of measures to confront the crisis and the economic adjustment implemented by the Government of Mauricio Macri.
Several teachers advocated for better wage and labor conditions, while representatives of economic sectors protested for rising prices and inflation.
The demonstrations extended to more than 40 cities in Argentina, with the participation of the Confederation of Workers of the Popular Economy, Barrios de Pie and other organizations mobilized since last year to demand the approval of laws in favor of the interests of the people.
