Havana, Cuba.- The Council of Ministers of Cuba held a meeting in this capital to tackle economic and social issues, including the consequences of irregularities in foreign trade operations.

According to a press release broadcast by the Cuban television, the meeting was headed by President of the Councils of State and Ministers Miguel Diaz-Canel, who took office on April 19th during the constituent session of the 9th Legislature of the Parliament of Cuba.

The Council of Ministers of Cuba also discussed the state of receivable and payable accounts, the results of the national assessment of the internal control system and the compliance with actions seeking to handle illegalities in land and urban planning.

The Council of Ministers of Cuba also discussed the Plan of the Economy for 2018, with closure in March.
