ALBA countries and various governments of the world reaffirmed their support for Venezuela.

The countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of our America (ALBA) and Palestine reaffirmed their support for Venezuela following the coup attempt on Tuesday led by Deputy opposition member Juan Guaido.

In Peru, former presidential adviser Alberto Adrianzen rejected the attempt of the so-called Lima Group to deny the character of coup d’état to the frustrated rebellion, which proves that neoliberal governments integrating it are its accomplices and promoters, like that of United States.

The Governments of Turkey, Iran, Uruguay, Nicaragua, and Bolivia issued official communiqués, while movements and left-wing deputies spoke in rejection of the violent actions in Caracas.

Many voices from Central America and the Caribbean condemned the destabilizing action orchestrated by the pro-imperialist Venezuelan right and called to defend Venezuela´s sovereignty.
