CARACAS, Venezuela. – Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro highlighted the progress of dialogue with several opposition sectors to seek a negotiated way out of the political crisis in that country.

After a meeting between representatives of both sides, the Minister of Communication and Information reported dizzying progress of the National Dialogue Bureau to respond to the Venezuelan people.

The member of the government delegation in the process stated the talks lay the foundations for a genuine process of reconciliation and strengthening of the democratic institution, in a climate of respect for Venezuela’s sovereignty and independence.

From Miraflores Palace, the Minister mentioned the partial agreements surrounding the establishment of a new National Electoral Council, with a view to next year’s parliamentary elections.
