CARACAS, Venezuela.- In presenting the report on government management over last year, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro highlighted that the period was on social investment and political breakthroughs.
Despite the right-wing economic war and international sanctions, he said, the programs for the protection of the people were consolidated, guaranteeing staple food to the most vulnerable families, and tackling the shortage of medicines.
Maduro added that the delivery of homes continued, the delivery of the national card was initiated to solve the popular needs, progress was made in the coverage of the pension fund and the Venezuelans bravely faced the imperial forces that attacked the national sovereignty.
In this context, the Venezuelan President recalled that the Bolivarian Revolution has never ignored the value of the national electoral system, and it has won 22 of 24 consultations.
