Governor of Antigua and Barbuda Receives Cuban Vice-Chancellor

The Governor of Antigua and Barbuda received the Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister.

SAINT JOHN, Antigua and Barbuda.- Rodney Williams, Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda, received Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Rogelio Sierra, who arrived in that Caribbean nation on Monday on an official visit that will run until November 13.

According to Sierra in his official Twitter profile, the Antiguan top leader passed on his people’s thanks for the cooperation Cuba offers to his country in several sectors of the economy and society.

The Cuban Vice-Chancellor recognized the excellent state of diplomatic and friendly relations between the two nations, and thanked Antigua for its support for the Cuban people’s struggle against the economic, trade and financial blockade of the United States.

Sierra exchanged last Monday with several government leaders in that country, including Chancellor Chet Greene and Steadroy Benjamin, acting Prime Minister and Attorney General.
