Venceremos Brigade pays tribute to Che Guevara

VILLA CLARA, Cuba. – Representatives of the 50th Venceremos Brigade, paid tribute to Commander Ernesto Che Guevara in the Sculpture Ensemble bearing his name in Santa Clara.

The 28 members of the American group received a detailed explanation on the life and work of the Heroic Guerrilla Fighter, and placed a floral offering in front of the niches where the remains of the Cuban-Argentine and his companions of the Reinforcement Detachment rest.

During the visit of the Venceremos Brigade to Villa Clara, they toured the monument to Action against the Armored Train, and other historical sites linked to the Battle of Santa Clara.

The solidarity group with Cuba was received in Santa Clara by Osnay Miguel Colina, member of the Party Bureau in that province, and Iris Menendez, delegate of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples in that territory.
