Mass grave in Irak.

BAGHDAD, Iraq. – Iraqi security personnel found a mass grave with 23 human remains, mostly police officers, during tracking operations in the vicinity of the city of Mosul, the body reported today.

As Iraqi troops recovered areas occupied by the Islamic State, there are frequent findings of mass graves of civilians and agents executed by the terrorist group.

The war in Iraq displaced millions of civilians in and out of the country and left thousands of dead, most of them killed in cold blood.

Although Prime Minister Haidar to Abadi proclaimed last December the total defeat of radicals and extremists, it still persists in the popular memory the horror lived under the occupation of terrorists, accentuated with these horrifying discoveries.
