The government reiterates readiness to consolidate friendly ties with Americans advocating for an end to blockade of Cuba.

HAVANA, Cuba.- Cuba’s Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla emphasized the Cuban government’s readiness to cement friendly ties with people within the United States who advocate for an end to the blockade of Cuba.

We will be able to maintain and expand the ties uniting us with millions of people in the United States from the most diverse sectors and regions, who believe in a respectful and constructive relationship with Cuba and favor the end of the economic blockade on the island, the Cuban Chancellor highlighted in Twitter.

A sign of this solidarity support is the work of the Venceremos American Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba, which is currently in the island.

The brigade will be in Cuba until August 13 and among their most recent actions was the visit to Commander Ernesto Che Guevara Sculpture Complex, in Santa Clara.
