Russia and Cuba seek to strengthen agricultural cooperation.

MOSCOW, Russia.- The Vice-President of the Cuban Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas, analyzed bilateral economic cooperation with Russian Agriculture Minister Dmitri Patrushev.

In his previous meeting with the Russian Minister of Transportation, Cabrisas highlighted the crucial nature of this sector in all its variants for the Cuban economy, and was very optimistic in the prospects of further development of collaboration.

The Cuban Vice-President of the Council of Ministers denounced the reinforcement of the American economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba by activating Title III of extraterritorial Helms-Burton Act and applying additional punitive measures.

After the meeting with Patrushev, Cabrisas will talk with Borisov, co-chair of the Cuba-Russia intergovernmental commission by the Russian side.
