HAVANA, Cuba. – The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raul Castro, congratulated the State Security Bodies on occasion of their 60th anniversary.
In a letter read by the Vice-Minister of the Interior, the Army General highlighted the bravery, intelligence and sacrifice often anonymous of those integrating and collaborating in that body.
Raul Castro highlighted that the new scenario demands a better-prepared and consecrated combatants for complex and difficult missions, and he expressed his confidence that the members of t State Security Bodies will continue the legacy of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
Previously, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel congratulated the founders and current members of that body, which he noted, has a glorious history of selflessness, dedication, commitment and victories in confronting the enemy.
