HAVANA, Cuba.- American actor Danny Glover supported the message by the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC) against US´s change of policy toward the island, proclaimed by President Donald Trump.

The UNEAC directed its message to writers, artists, scholars and American friends of Cuban culture, in order to denounce what the American President said last June 16.

Danny Glover´s voice adds to those of the most recent signatories of the document, like legendary Uruguayan troubadour Daniel Viglietti and Spanish singer Pilar Boyeros, who recently acted in Havana at the Cubadisco festival.

According to Cubarte newspaper, from the Ministry of Culture, the UNEAC´s message has so far more than 800 signatures of people from thirty-five countries who reject the obsolete discourse of Trump full of falsehoods and stereotypes.
