HAVANA, Cuba.- Havana will host a tribute to Fidel during the twenty-fourth meeting of the Sao Paulo Forum, which be held in Cuba from July 15 to 17.

In a short video-conference, the Executive Secretary of that organization of the continental left, Brazilian Monica Valenti, remarked the founding contribution of the Commander-in-Chief and former Brazilian President Lula da Silva.

Idalmys Brooks, from the Cuban organizing committee, said the meeting will involve representatives of political parties, social movements and organizations of Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as several important personalities.

The next meeting of the Sao Paulo Forum in Havana, which includes 112 left-wing groups, will also involve political forces that do not yet integrate that bloc.
