HAVANA, Cuba.- The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, will pay tribute of remembrance in Santiago de Cuba to extinct Cuban President Fidel Castro Ruz, during his trip to the island on June 21 and 22.

Before arriving in Havana, the capital of Cuba, Kovind will place a floral offering on the grave of who New Delhi considers as a friend of India, whose remains rest in the second city of Cuba, in the Eastern part of the country.

A friend of the people and the leaders of India, Fidel visited that giant country on two occasions, in which he met with its top leaders, in particular with Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Ram Nath Kovind will meet later in Havana with the newly elected dignitary, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, who visited India as first Vice- President of Cuba.
