CAMAGUEY, Cuba.- A greater local production of materials to solve difficulties of housing fund in Camaguey province, was demanded by Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdes Menendez during the check of several programs.

The also Vice-President of the Councils of State and Ministers, defined as essential to guarantee the quality of the products, and insisted on the correct completion of houses.

Valdes Menendez knew of the study made in Camaguey municipalities on natural deposits that serve as raw material for the elaboration of those materials, hence the need for their exploitation to be immediate, he said.

Vivian Rodríguez, director of the National Housing Institute, explained that they prioritize victims, subsidies and houses in precarious conditions, coastal settlements and dirt floors, of which Camaguey will finish four thousand this year.
