LAS TUNAS, Cuba. – The Minister of Agriculture, Gustavo Rodriguez Rollero, exchanged with officers of the sector in Las Tunas province, about the insurance of sowing and feeding campaigns.

Agricultural workers expect growths even with drought and resources´ constraint, based on the positive results in the production of vegetables, milk, eggs, and pork meat and livestock recovery.

Although material and financial tensions will continue next year, Las Tunas will be supported in the supply of equipment and means, which should be used to produce more food for the population, substituting imports and more income in exportable funds.

In the livestock feeding campaign they must guarantee the conditions of water supply, and in food balance must include the extraction of the residues from the sugar industry.
