HAVANA, Cuba.-In order to discuss the economic and social results of the Cuban capital, Esteban Lazo, President of the Parliament, held a meeting with managers of companies and government officials in the territory.

Havana is very important for the country´s development, Lazo highlighted during the analysis of issues such as energy carriers, food production, internal control and housing program.

The head of Agriculture in Havana, Julio Martinez, reported on the growth of various crop productions, while managers of Physical Planning made progress in the eradication of urban illegalities, although some violations still prevail.

In the meeting, it was also reported on the work to increase efficiency in the local production of construction materials.
