Cabrisas Meets with Vice-President of International Investment Bank

HAVANA, Cuba. – Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz, Minister of Economy and Planning, received on Tuesday morning Denis Ivanov, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the International Investment Bank, financial multilateral institution of which Cuba is a full member since 1974.

In the fraternal meeting both sides exchanged about the magnificent state of the relations between Cuba and the International investment Bank, as well as the prospects for future work.

Similarly, Cabrisas and Ivanov reviewed the bank’s draft strategy for Cuba in the 2018-2020 period, which will be approved by the Bank’s next Council, which will take place in Bratislava next December.

They Analyze Job Prospects

At the meeting between Ricardo Cabrisas, Minister of Economy and Planning of Cuba, and Denis Ivanov, Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the International Investment Bank, the parties agreed on the role the Bank can play in the Cuba´s Economic and Social Development Program until 2030, especially in the financing of strategic and prioritized projects.

Denis Rodionov, Director of the International investment Bank. Isaac Hernandez Perez, Director of the Central Bank of Cuba, and Marlene Diaz and Pedro Ravelo, of the Exterior Bank de Cuba, also attended the meeting.
