HAVANA, Cuba.-The Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, received this Thursday in Havana a partisan delegation of Luxembourg, headed by its Secretary General, Ali Ruckert.

At the meeting between Machado Ventura and Ruckert, they analyzed challenges of the international situation, as well as the increased aggression of the United States government against the island.

The encounter helped reinforce friendships between the two Communist parties, as well as fostering mutual solidarity, The delegation of the Communist Party of Luxembourg will also hold meetings with officials of the Workers’ Central Union of Cuba.

The visitor delegation will also meet with researchers from the Center for International Policy Studies, to discuss the role of the left and the Communist parties in Europe.
