Volcano of Fire, Guatemala.

GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala.- Without hope of finding lives, Guatemalan lifeguards entered again to the ground zero of the tragedy provoked by the Volcano of Fire, when there are already 99 dead and 187 missing.

Located to the west of the capital of Guatemala, the volcano woke up last Sunday for the second time this year with one of the most powerful eruptions since 1954.

The rescue brigades work fast because they know that the order to stop search will arrive at any time, so that the machinery can enter and sweep tons of ashes now petrified by the rains of the last hours.

On the eve Guatemalan President Jimmy Morales visited El Rodeo village in the Department of Escuintla, to encourage rescue teams and give them donations of boots and gloves.
