CARACAS, Venezuela.- President Nicolas Maduro participated in the state of Sucre in the delivery of the house number 2.1 million, as part of the Venezuela Housing Great Mission in a project that has provided a roof to 25 percent of the inhabitants of that country.

The President approved on the occasion a decree to activate ten lands located in several parishes in Caracas where it is also planned to build houses.

The immediate challenge of the Bolivarian government is to arrive at the figure of three million of houses before the end of 2019, with the aim of dignifying the life of equal number of families.

The Venezuela Housing Great Mission arose in 2011 on the initiative of President Hugo Chavez to build two million homes, a goal accomplished by the Executive led by Maduro, who proposes to reach five million in 2025.
