Venezuelan head of State Nicolas Maduro.

CARACAS, Venezuela.- The head of State of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, announced this Wednesday he will visit Cuba soon to ratify his support to the Caribbean nation and saluted the nomination of Miguel Diaz-Canel as President of the State and Ministers Councils.

During a live broadcast on Facebook, Maduro congratulated Diaz-Canel and expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Raul, who, he stressed, has ruled Cuba in an impeccable way for all these years.

“I will soon visit Miguel Díaz-Canel to shake hands and tell him that Cuba and Venezuela go ahead in the battle for the 21st century,” he said.

The President of Venezuela also sent a greeting to the board of the National Assembly of Cuba, and to its President Esteban Lazo, for being ratified in that position.
