UNITED NATIONS, New York.- Iranian Chancellor Abbas Araghchi forecasted a greater international isolation from the United States during the UN General Assembly session, owing to President Donald Trump’s anti-Iranian campaign.
The diplomat pointed out that, as the Persian delegation was informed, all European members of the Security Council intend to support the nuclear agreement and underline the need to remain committed to its implementation.
The Iranian Chancellor referred to the recent speech by the President of the Islamic Republic, Hassan Rohani, at the UN, in which he proposed to the United States to return to the pact.
Araghchi said that European countries are seeking formulas to continue their trade with Iran and evade the repercussions of sanctions from the northern power.
