HAVANA, Cuba. – The second Secretary of the National Committee of the Young Communist League of Cuba (UJC), Ronal Hidalgo, said this Thursday that the Cuban delegation will set forth in the 19th World Youth Festival the challenges to make possible a better world.

Hidalgo explained that the representation of the island will consist of 260 people, as delegates and guests, and cover the different sectors of the country.

The leader of the UJC highlighted the participation of a large mass of teenagers, both in tasks to confront powerful Hurricane Irma as in the recovery work.

The 19th Worldwide Festival of Youth and Students will be dedicated to the Cuban historical leader Fidel Castro, heroic guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara and the anniversary 70 of the festival movement.
